The Centre for Climate, Education and Development Research (CCEDR) is guided by a distinguished Board of Directors comprising accomplished professionals and thought leaders from academia, government, the private sector, and the international development community. CCEDR is guided by a five-member Governing Board composed of distinguished academics, climate change experts, development practitioners, and business leaders.
The Board provides strategic oversight and governance, ensuring that CCEDR operates with the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and sustainable impact.
Drawing on multidisciplinary expertise in climate change, economic development, finance, public policy, research, entrepreneurship, and social innovation, the Board plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s long-term vision and strategic direction. Their collective experience strengthens institutional credibility, supports strategic partnerships, and enhances CCEDR’s ability to deliver evidence-based programmes that drive climate resilience and inclusive economic growth across Africa.
The Board also ensures sound financial stewardship, robust risk management, and adherence to best practices in governance, enabling CCEDR to effectively serve its stakeholders and beneficiaries while maintaining operational excellence and integrity.
Michael Yaw Djan is a Pastor, Project Manager, Business Development Expert, and Entrepreneur in the Spa and Wellness industry. He is the Co-founder of Blissspa and Aesthetics, a wellness centre dedicated to enhancing overall well-being by combining relaxation, beauty, and therapeutic care.
Jacob Agyei Twumasi, (CA) is a Chartered Accountant, finance and strategy expert, and social entrepreneur with extensive experience in financial management, institutional development, and sustainable growth.
Abdul Ganiyu Alhassan is a development practitioner and researcher with over ten years of experience working at the intersection of climate change, human security, migration, and community development. He currently holds a Master of Philosophy in Development Management from University of Business and Integrated Development Studies.
